Hi! I am a lifestyle, event and portrait photographer in Boston, MA and I specialize in concerts, live performances, documentary style portraits, and historical mediums. I perform both indoor photo sessions and outdoor photoshoots in scenic locations in the New England area. As a born and raised native of Massachusetts I hold a deep love for the varying landscapes across the region. I aspire to make every session memorable, comfortable and genuine. Enjoying the photo experience is paramount for my personal work. After all, this is a memory captured and we want it to reflect folks’ true nature, emotions and environment. My work has changed in a more earnest way since becoming a mother. I now deeply treasure capturing fleeting moments of young kids and their families. In all areas of my practice I aim to capture a moment that would otherwise be lost to time. May that be a moment of tenderness in a mother holding her child’s hand, or a portrait using historical methods capturing a few-seconds-long exposure to reflect a literal sliver of time. I am capable and privileged to get to know you and your family, and to help you preserve these precious, fleeting seconds to cherish for years to come.
My passion for School Picture Day photography
The early years of childhood education just go by too quickly! As parents and caregivers there is not always enough time in the day to pay worthy attention to these fleeting moments and how quickly children really do change. Personally, I cherish the photographs that a teacher from my daughter’s first daycare was wonderful enough to make. As they say, kids act differently around their parents and direct family. The photos just come out differently coming from an outside perspective. We get a chance to appreciate how kids present themselves to the world during their beginning in every way even subconsciously.
