I enjoy portraiture because it allows me to share my perspective of a person who serves as a blank canvas, while also maintaining their personality in a stil image. Capturing photos is my adult version of all the art forms I engaged in prior in my younger years, and this is just a fabulous evolution of my inner child in the art world
My passion for School Picture Day photography
I have a natural inclination to children because I truly see their innocence at certain ages. This is a chance to interact with different personalities and learn the many ways to ensure a child is comfortable and happy because I’m only a stranger. I have a soft spot in my heart for children and I only hope that Im able to further understand them and get through to them in a loving way, even though it’s just for a moment to click my shutter. I’ve only interacted with children for volunteering to help them speak French, as I have a major in French, but it was very enjoyable!
