I had the opportunity to learn photography from a professional Japanese photographer. Initially, I enjoyed capturing street photos in New York and was fascinated by using lighting, so I always carried a strobe. As I began using lighting, I also started working with video and now work as a cinematographer as well. I enjoyed shooting high-quality product photos, but eventually, I realized that what I truly want to capture are people, especially the memories of childhood. I want to use all my skills to preserve those fleeting moments that can never be relived.

My passion for School Picture Day photography

I’ve often seen how taking photos can be a stressful experience for both children and their parents. It was the same for me when I was a child. While photographing sports or events, I discovered that children are at their most natural and beautiful when they aren’t aware of the camera. When taking posed photos, I strive to understand them and capture the moment skillfully. I want them to enjoy the process, and I love using my expertise to capture their most natural and beautiful selves, rather than creating something artificial.
