I am a portrait photographer that specializes in newborn (and young children), families, fashion, landscapes, and food. I live in Stone Mountain, Georgia and have access to the many photo opportunities in Atlanta and Lawrenceville, GA. My goal is to create photos for Southerners who love their families, children, events, food, and their locations. At an early age, I knew that I wanted to become an artist. Photography is an art form that shows emotion and beauty. It helps us to slow down, reduce stress and enjoy memories and the world around us. Photos help us to remember good times and the challenging times that we overcame. Photography is a communication tool to tell a story about event(s) I graduated from Savannah College Art and Design in March 2023 with a minor in Fashion Photography. I was employed as a Newborn Photographer with MOM365 and a photographer with the JC Penney Portrait Studio .
My passion for School Picture Day photography
Last year I worked at Mom365, I had the opportunity to hold, pose and photograph parent's bundles of joy. This helped me perform my passion for photographing life. Not only did I capture the new proud parents, I have also captured young children smiling after the first interacting with their sibling for the first time. My family has numerous gatherings that include photos and sometimes I feel like we are surrounded by the paparazzi. Capturing photos of per-schoolers would bring back memories of my cousin "who is 11 now". He was premature and lived with us for 6 months . I know the importance of an outstanding photo session, so I talk to the parents and obtain their expectations.Prior to starting, I inform young kids about the process and make them feel comfortable, I talk about their interests, I use music, toys, funny sounds, and faces to make my subjects laugh and have fun. For families, I incorporate laughter and hugs.
